My Workbench Project
A little history is needed to understand this project.
I'm from
Texas and my company transferred me to Germany a few years ago. While I
was over there, I decided to build a nice cabinet maker's workbench out
of European Beech - the traditional workbench wood. European beech is
not
readily available in the US, so I figured that the workbench would be a
momento of our stay over in Germany. We moved back to the US late in
1996,
but the workbench still is not finished! Maybe sometime in 2000 :-).
