Saw Rack
Here's a simple way to hang large handsaws and backsaws
on a wall.
The rack is European beech. The four outer frame pieces are
assembled
with handcut dovetails. The hanging strips at the top
& bottom
use mortise & tenon joints.
I found that a 30 degree angle for the slots works well. The
slots are about 1/8" wide and spaced vertically every 3
inches. The
3" spacing works well if you alternate the handles as I have
shown.
This rack is about 18" wide, which works fine for 24-26"
saws. Make
the width to suit your saws.
