Unlike the #45 and #55, the #46 is very rarely found with an original box. The few pictures below show some of the boxes.
The pasteboard box below is in pretty rough shape.... The instruction sheet has an illustration of a type 8 plane, but the #46 is probably a type 9 or 10.
Here's the same box in better condition with a later instruction sheet.
Possibly an original wooden box or an owner-made custom box modeled after a #45 box...
