Type 1. Number F3070C. was made by the Sargent Company for Winchester from 1920 to 1926. It was similar to the Stanley No. 71.
 

Type 2. Number W171. The number change came about with the Stanley Rule & Level Co. now making the routers for them, 1927-1930. Winchester offering a new open throat model plus attachments.
