The information below will generally apply for any tool without a fixed shipping charge....

• Typically, buyers only pay the exact shipping charge - there is not a "handling fee".

•  I prefer to ship most items by the US postal service, either priority mail or first class.  See the rate calculator on the USPS website for more info on rates.  My zip code is 77479, if you want to investigate shipping costs.

• Small parts and very light tools can be shipped first class in an envelope for anywhere from $0.75 to $2.00.

• Heavier parts or small tools are best shipped via priority mail, which starts at $3.20.

• Insurance is optional, at the buyer's expense.  For $50 or less, the USPS charges $0.85.  Up to $100 costs $1.80.  I can't be held responsible for packages that are lost or damaged by the post office.

• Delivery confirmation is also available from the post office for an extra $0.35.  This is like a tracking number, so that you can determine when an item was delivered.

• Very heavy tools, such as a miter box are best sent using UPS.   UPS also includes $100 of insurance and a tracking number, so you can see the progress of the shipment.  UPS must have a street address - no PO Boxes.
